What is PlanWise?

PlanWise is a participant-facing NDIS plan management app for Australians with disability. Whether you're self-managing, plan-managing, or working with a Support Coordinator, PlanWise gives you a clear view of your NDIS funding and goals.

How do I get started?

Download PlanWise from the App Store and tap "Continue with Demo Account" to explore the app immediately — no account required. When you're ready, sign up with your email to save your own data.

How do I set up my NDIS budget?

After signing in, go to the Budget tab and tap "Set Up My Plan." Enter your funding amounts for each support category (Core Supports, Capacity Building, Capital Supports). PlanWise will track your spending and show remaining balances in real time.

How does the Budget Dashboard work?

The Budget Dashboard shows ring charts for each funding category — your total funding, amount spent, and amount remaining. You'll receive alerts when you reach 80% of any category to avoid over-utilisation.

What is the AI Plan Advisor?

The AI Plan Advisor lets you ask questions about your NDIS plan in plain English — for example, "Can I use Capacity Building funding for a gym membership?" or "What is included in Core Supports?" It explains NDIS rules and guidance in simple terms.

How do I track my goals?

In the Goals tab, add your NDIS goals and milestones. You can record progress notes and upload evidence (photos, documents) to build your case for your next plan review.

How do I track invoices?

In the Invoice Tracker, add invoices from your providers. Enter the provider name, support category, date, and amount. PlanWise will deduct it from the matching budget category automatically.

Can I find NDIS providers in the app?

Yes. The Provider Marketplace lets you search for NDIS registered providers by support category, registration group, and location. You can view their contact details and services.

Is my data kept private?

All your data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. PlanWise does not have access to your NDIS portal or government data. Read our full Privacy Policy.

Does PlanWise connect to the NDIS portal?

PlanWise does not connect directly to the NDIS myplace portal. Budget and invoice information is entered manually by you or your plan manager. This keeps your sensitive NDIS data fully under your control.

Troubleshooting

Data isn't syncing between devices

Ensure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive enabled. Go to Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → iCloud Drive and make sure it's on for PlanWise.

I forgot my password

Tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
