Tap the "Parent settings" button on the home screen, enter your PIN (default: 1234), then tap "Add Routine." You can add steps with emojis, custom photos, voice recordings, and timers.
When you set scheduled times for your routines in Parent Mode, Routinely will automatically suggest the right routine when you open the app. For example, if "Morning Routine" is set for 7:00 AM and you open the app at 6:50 AM, it will suggest starting the morning routine right away. This is a Pro feature.
In Parent Mode, go to Settings and enable "Calendar Sync" under Smart Suggestions. Routinely will create a dedicated calendar and add events for each scheduled routine. You'll need to grant Calendar access when prompted.
In Parent Mode, go to Settings and enable "Reminders Sync." Routinely will create reminder lists for each routine with individual step items. Grant Reminders access when prompted.
Routinely sends gentle local notifications when it's time for a scheduled routine. You can snooze (5 minutes) or skip directly from the notification. Enable notifications in Parent Mode settings. All notifications are processed on-device โ no data is sent to any server.

Make sure "Read Steps Aloud" is enabled in Parent Mode settings. Also check that your iPad isn't in Silent Mode (the physical switch on the side) and that the volume is turned up.
In Parent Mode, scroll to Settings and look for the PIN section. The default PIN is 1234. You can change it to any 4-digit code.
Yes! Say "Hey Siri, start Morning Routine" (or any routine name). Routinely registers Siri shortcuts for each routine automatically.
You can delete individual routines in Parent Mode, or uninstall the app to remove all local data. To also remove iCloud data, go to Settings โ Apple ID โ iCloud โ Manage Storage โ Routinely.
Ensure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account and have iCloud Drive enabled. Open Settings โ Apple ID โ iCloud โ iCloud Drive and make sure it's on.
Check that notifications are enabled for Routinely in Settings โ Notifications โ Routinely. Also make sure you've set a scheduled time for the routine in Parent Mode and that Focus/Do Not Disturb isn't blocking alerts.
Verify that Calendar access is granted in Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Calendars โ Routinely. Then toggle Calendar Sync off and on in Parent Mode to force a re-sync.
